When buying diesel fuel , always get a receipt and write the odometer reading (mileage) on the receipt , before you leave the station . This will give you proof of where and when ,(in mileage) you purchased the fuel , if you ever did have a fuel problem. Repair procedure would be - Check for a loose alternator belt. Test the battery and the charging system. Recharge the battery and then retest if necessary. Repair the charging system as necessary. Replace the battery if necessary....

Tire rotation service
On this service, the tires are inspected and then the front tires are moved to the rear of the vehicle and the rear tires to the front of the vehicle . The front tires wear slightly faster than the rear tires .

Chevrolet

Louis Chevrolet was born in Switzerland in 1878 . His family moved to France in in 1886 , were Louis took an interest in mechanics and more so in auto racing . From 1895 to 1899 he worked as a mechanic . In 1900 Louis moved to Montreal in Canada were he worked for a year . He than went to work for Fiat in New York City USA . He later went to work for Buick in Detroit . He was at Buick when William Durant was CEO of the company .

Louis Chevrolet did some race car driving to permote Buick . He also built a new 6 cylinder overhead valve engine and designed a car in his own machine shop in 1909 . Durant was terminated from Buick . William Durant and Louis Chevrolet formed a partnership and opened the Chevrolet Motor Company .

1914 Chevrolet

In 1915 Louis Chevrolet sold his part of Chevrolet to William Durant . In 1916 Louis and his brother Gaston started Frontenac Motor Company and built Fronty-Ford race cars . Louis Chevrolet raced in the Indianapolis 500 in 1915, 1916 1919 and 1920 . His top finish was 7th in 1919 .

Louis was totally broke when he passed on .
