Indiana in 2009 . The planned sole product of this company is a car built specifically for a police interceptor and to be sold only to police departments . The cars would be returned to the company for recycling when police are done with them

These police specials will be rear wheel drive . Rear Wheel Drive vehicles handle and control much better than front wheel drive vehicles , at high speeds and at highway speeds . They will be powered by a 250 horsepower 3.0 liter turbocharged diesel engines , which are more fuel efficient than similar gasoline engines . They are also equipped with 6 speed automatic transmissions which will help the acceleration and add to the performance of the vehicle . The acceleration is said to be 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 6 ½ seconds and the top is around 150 miles per hour
. The car weighs about 4,000 pounds and has a 50/50 weight distribution , front to rear , which will add to the stability and handling of the car . Carbon Motors claims the life of the car to be 250,000 miles . The car is to be fully equipped with all the latest equipment needed for police purposes so that no additions , modifications or additional expenses will be needed .

Its track is almost 67 inches front and rear ant the overall width is 78 inches . The height is just over 64 inches . It will go from 0 to 60 mph in under 7 seconds and 98 mph in a ¼ mile in 14.5 seconds , which are respectable numbers .
